| About autobody repair? I have done the basics, like fixing minor dents, filling, sanding, painting, wet sanding etc.. But I need some info on how to replace a panel (ex. rear quarter panel) This is for my NA 2+2 so I am not going to spend money on it by bringing it to the bodyshop. My TT is about to have its widebody started and all my money needs to go to that. I posted pics the other day of my HID install on my NA, The rear quarter panel has rust where it meets the rear bumper, The rust is all the way through the metal. Should I just use my plasma cutter and cut out the same panel on my parts car, then weld it in place of my NA? The sheet metal is THIN, so I am worried about warping it while welding, Should I just tack weld, then use filler? If anyone has any tips or links on 'how-to' for me, it will be greatly apprieciated. Thanks, Shawn300zTT
Thanks alot!
NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
